LADIES SWIMMING CLASSES
Swimming classes' exclusive for ladies are held every Wednesday and Friday mornings (& in the evenings for the working ladies). The sessions are divided into two batches, the beginners group and another group for those ladies who know how to swim but want to be better swimmers. Our professional instructors run these sessions. The duration of these classes will depend on how much the swimmer wishes to learn, as we will continue teaching different techniques & strokes even if the swimmer has learnt the basics. The swimming lessons also tend to be a good work out for those ladies who wish to keep fit by swimming regularly. For private individual lessons, please refer to the 'Class schedules' page. MEN'S SWIMMING CLASSES
Swimming lessons for men (Beginners & non-beginners) are held twice a week; every Thursday evening & Saturday late afternoon. The classes are conducted by our experienced & qualified swimming instructors. So if you didn't get a chance to learn swimming during those days it's not too late! Swimming is not just for your children, it's for you as well, so you can enjoy being in the water with your kids! BABIES AND MUMMIES
Bluefins offers a first of its kind session in Tanzania for Babies from the age of nine months to get familiar with water and at the same time be close to their mums. It is not the intention of the 'Babies n Mummies' class to attempt to teach swimming, but rather to familiarize babies with water environment for exercise, relaxation and most importantly, enjoyment. A baby being born has already spent nine months in a fluid environment within a womb. Water, therefore should not be a strange medium for the baby, especially when the person to whom it is closest, the mother, is in the pool with him/her. With their favorite songs and nursery rhymes playing in the background, this sure is going to be the babies' favorite activity and the ideal way to introduce them to swimming when they get a little older.

SWIMMING GALAS & COMPETITIONS
Bluefins is an official swimming club registered under the National Sports Council and is recognized by the Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA). We will be participating with our swimmers in all official swimming competitions organized or recognized by the TSA in & outside the country, including the National Swimming Championships.
